On September 22nd, we signed a framework agreement with the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment – FFI.

Through the agreement with Norwegian MoD, the Norwegian Armed Forces’ research institute can receive assistance to design and realize physical products and services for the defence of the future.

Eker Design was one of three companies that were awarded a framework agreement. FFI states that Eker Design excels especially in Industrial Design – a recognition we are proud of. Over the years, we have developed a wide range of high-performance products for several industries.

In addition to the Ministry of Defence, the following agencies in the defense sector may choose to use the newly signed agreement:

• Norwegian Armed Forces
• NDMA – Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency
• NDLO – The Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation
• Forsvarsbygg
• NSM – The Norwegian National Security Authority
• Norwegian Armed Forces Cyber Defence

The framework agreement entered into force on 22 September 2021 and has a term of 3 + 1 years. We look forward to a long-term relationship offering products and services for the Ministry of Defence.
