Eker Design is participating in the competition to design a high-speed vessel for future transport.

Among 6 participating companies, Eker Design is in the competition to design tomorrow’s high-speed passenger ferry. The goal is to develop a vessel with zero emission, and reduce energy consumption by a minimum of 30 percent in accordance with reference values in existing reference vessels.

The design process will go through different phases over the next year and a half. The initiators are very satisfied with the first design concepts and look forward to following the process of developing the high-speed ferry for the future. The project is signed by the county municipalities of Trøndelag, Vestland, Nordland, Troms, and Finnmark
