When Måneproduksjoner and Netron approached Eker in late 2024, the brief was ambitious: create a full-scale tiger sculpture not for a park or museum, but as a rooftop statement piece for a new bar at Oslo Airport Gardermoen. The high-resolution model (from Goldbox on behalf of Grid Branding) formed the basis for both the physical build and projection work.

The build blended craftsmanship and engineering: the body was CNC-milled from polystyrene for lightness and shape, with fine features like claws and mouth created via 3D printing, all reinforced with steel and epoxy. The sculpture was coated in Jesmonite with pigment, and details like stripes and the tiger’s gaze were precisely painted. Finally, advanced projection mapping added a dynamic visual layer, animating the tiger both day and night
