Heatweed Technologies is a Norwegian company with more than 35 years of experience. The company is known for its non-chemical weed control. They use hot water to control weed and are a go-to authority for knowledge about eco-friendly and chemical-free weed control. Their award-winning and effective machines have made the company a market leader in Europe. Heatweed now has operations in 15 different European countries. The Heatweed Method is using hot water combined with sensor technology and temperature control.

Heatweed reduces unwanted weed and invasive species without the use of herbicides or other chemicals. Their non-chemical weed control is indeed an important contribution to saving the global environment as well as offering the lowest m2-cost to municipalities, contractors, and other customer groups. Eker Design collaborated with Heatweed to develop the new Mid 3.0 with new technology. The new technology and function-driven design ensure even better performance, efficiency, ergonomic benefits, and operations.

Developing a new design line and a new DNA to state the Heatweed brand and market position for the new product portfolio was also a part of our task. In addition, we used the opportunity to work on the branding and visual communication to ensure that the Heatweed identity and DNA are incorporated and thus strengthening the company’s communications.
